9 Plants You Can Offer As A Gift

A wonderful present for birthdays, weddings, and more, a plant can be a suitable gift for any occasion. Giving a plant as a gift is a good idea, and some plants are the perfect luck charms. Our advice is to evaluate both the person who will be taking care of the plant and the space it will occupy.

If the person is a regular plant caretaker, any plant will do, but if they are not very experienced, we would suggest a more suitable plant that does not require constant care. Here are some examples to help you choose!

1) Dracaena Trifasciata

This plant is also known as “mother-in-law’s tongue” because it produces oxygen at night and purifies the air by removing benzene and formaldehyde. It is considered very efficient as a gift since it produces oxygen and does not require constant care.

2) Lucky Bamboo

The great traditions of the East also apply to this plant, a symbol of peace and tranquillity. It can be very satisfying in full sun, especially in the spring and summer months, even without care.

3) Aquatic Pacira

This is a great gift idea. The leaves of this plant are delicate, and the stems are braided and elegant. It is an oriental plant and is considered a good luck charm in its region.

4) Terrariums

Terrariums are the perfect gift. If you buy a self-sufficient terrarium, you do not have to do (almost) anything. Terrariums are supplied with water by generating steam. This is very convenient for plant lovers who don’t have much time.
Terrariums come in a variety of shapes and sizes. A large terrarium may not fit into your Christmas budget, but a small terrarium will do.

5) Zebra Succulent

The succulent “Zebra” is one of the most preferred plants right now. It’s a stylish plant. If you let this succulent shine in a dark spot, it will instantly draw attention to its leaves. Do you like a bit of craziness? Then pair the zebra succulent with a too-cute plant pot like an animal plant pot.

Succulents make a great gift for people who love plants but unfortunately do not have a green thumb. They require very little water and care and thus, are also ideal for pregnant and nursing mothers.

6) Air Plants

Air plants fall into the category of “easiest plants”. Why? They do not need water at all. They get the nutrients they need from the air. However, they need a humid environment, so it is best to water them lightly with a plant spray.

Air plants come in a variety of shapes, sizes and colours. They often end up being green, pink or purple. For a bit of fun, hang these air plants in a clear Christmas ball, and you’ll have a wonderful Christmas gift.

7) Herbs

Do you have to buy gifts for the chefs in the kitchen? If so, a few kitchen herbs will surely be appreciated.

You can choose from:

• Basil
• Coriander
• Chives
• Parsley
• Mint
• Thyme
• Sage

8) Dwarf Conifers

Dwarf conifers are a great gift to receive during the holiday season. With a few lights, small baubles, and garland, you can decorate a dwarf conifer to look like a real mini Christmas tree. Put that plant in a nice pot, and you have a wonderful gift.

Dwarf conifers are also excellent outdoors, preferably in a sunny spot. Place the conifer in a large pot to allow it to grow nicely.

9) Cacti

Cacti are hot. They require very little water, are easy to care for and match any interior design. Do you think cacti as a gift on their own is a bit boring? Then, combine it with a beautiful flowerpot, and you’re all done!
